SAMRA AGM 2020
Dear Members and Residents
Given the continued Covid restrictions, we will need to run the SAMRA Annual General Meeting a bit differently this year. Instead of getting together in person in the welcoming surroundings of the Sandymount Hotel, we will instead hold the meeting virtually via Zoom on the evening of 18 January 2020, 7.30-9pm.
Many of you will no doubt have become familiar with Zoom and other virtual communications tools over the past year. For those of you who are less familiar, Zoom is an online tool that allows meetings and presentations to take place online over the internet. You will be given the option to join from your computer / tablet / smart phone or by dialling in from your telephone. Further information on how to join a Zoom webinar is available here.
We intend on keeping the format of the AGM largely the same as in previous years by summarizing some of SAMRA’s key work over the previous 12 months, describing key updates and electing the Committee for 2021. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions of the SAMRA Committee.
We hope to have Pembroke Councillors in attendance too, to assist, as panelists.
We encourage you to renew subscriptions via Paypal, simple instructions for which – or the paper based alternative are available on the website.
A link to the SAMRA PayPal sign up is also additionally available here.
If you intend on joining the AGM, please register your interest by Monday 4 January 2021 at https://fb.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_1B33a3J6Ri6kuBlWp4hdtQ. We will share a link to the AGM before 18 January 2020 and give further details, regarding the AGM.
Kind regards
SAMRA Committee
